At the invitation of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), the delegation of the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV), led by Deputy Director General Do Hong Cam, attended the 52nd ASEAN Air Transport Working Group Meeting (ATWG 52) and the 3rd ASEAN–EU Joint Committee Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand, from 15–18 September 2025.
Hanoi, September 23, 2025 – Vietnam Airlines has announced adjustments to its flight schedule due to the impact of Typhoon Ragasa (Typhoon No. 9), which continues to develop unpredictably across the region. These changes are being implemented to prioritize the safety of passengers and crew.
On 9 July 2025, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) held a meeting with a delegation from Hokkaido Prefecture (Japan) focused onstrengthen air connectivity between Viet Nam and Hokkaido through charter flights, with a view to establishing regular scheduled services.
The Ministry of Construction has issued a directive assigning the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV), in its capacity as the aeronautical authority, to serve as the focal point in carrying out the notification procedures with ICAO regarding participation in CORSIA (as per ICAO’s guidance).
