(Dien Bien Airport)

Previously, in December 2023, Vietnam Airlines officially introduced the modern jet Airbus A321 into operation on the Hanoi - Dien Bien route, solving the problem of transporting volume and becoming one of the important milestones of the Vietnamese aviation industry. The number of passengers flying between Hanoi and Dien Bien in late 2023 and early 2024 saw impressive growth, doubling compared to the same period before the pandemic.

With the increase in flights to Dien Bien, Vietnam Airlines affirms its role as the national carrier in accompanying the Government and localities in promoting the National Tourism Year, bringing more tourists to explore the Northwestern region, shortening time and distance as well as speeding the circulation of goods./.
