During the meeting, the Swedish Embassy expressed their desire to continue collaborating with Vietnam in implementing the System-Wide Information Management (SWIM) platform.
This advanced system aims to enhance air traffic management capabilities and improve the efficiency of aviation information sharing. The SWIM initiative has garnered significant interest from the CAAV, as it will modernize Vietnam’s aviation infrastructure, improve safety standards, and optimize air traffic control operations.

On behalf of the CAAV, Director General Dinh Viet Thang expressed his gratitude for the valuable support that Sweden has provided to Vietnam’s aviation sector over the years. He emphasized that this cooperation not only drives technological and infrastructure advancements but also plays a key role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Additionally, both parties discussed cooperation on streamlining procedures for upcoming cargo flights from Sweden. This is an important step in facilitating increased trade and cargo transport between the two nations, contributing to the growth of bilateral commerce.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both the Swedish Embassy and the CAAV to foster close cooperation, particularly in aviation information management and cargo transport. This partnership promises to bring significant benefits to Vietnam’s aviation industry and further strengthen the long-standing relationship between Vietnam and Sweden.
