Who we are

The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam is an organization under the Ministry of Transport, performing the advisory function to assist the Minister of Transport (hereinafter referred to as the Minister) in state management of civil aviation nationwide; directly exercising power and taking responsibility of the Aeronautical Authority as prescribed under the laws and international conventions of which the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam is a member.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam has legal status, with a seal bearing the national emblem; has its own account at the State Treasury, headquartered in Hanoi city.

The international trade name of the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam is “Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam”.
