Accordingly, anticipating a high demand of travel for passengers, transport of cargos and tourism as well as assuring high customer satisfaction during the holiday period (April 30 to May 1, 2024) and this 2024 summer peak, CAAV requires Vietnamese airlines to actively coordinate with tourism enterprises in planning air operation to localities and countries with major tourist attractions; thereby aiming to support and promote both domestic and international tourism activities.
CAAV also requires the companies to report the need for exploitation, increased flights, as well as proposals to adjust landing and takeoff parameters; service time during the holiday period (April 30-May 1) and this 2024 summer peak.
In addition, the Authority also suggests that airlines ultilizing resources and forecasting market demand to optimize aircraft downtime, urgently devising a plan to increase domestic flights from North to South, enabling night flights to timely meet the travel needs of passengers.
