Notification of renounced aircraft

To whom it may concerned,

The Royal Khmer Airlines (RKA)’s aircraft B727-200 bearing Cambodian nationality with Registration No.: XU-RKJ, for technical reason, has grounded at Noi Bai International Airport from 1st May 2007. The aircraft has not been removed by RKA and other concerned parties so far, which had posed impacts on the airport operations.

In accordance with Paragraph 4, Article 9 of the Decree 02/2012/ND-CP dated 11th  January 2012 by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Detailing and Guiding the Implementation of the Ordinance on Procedures for Arrest of Aircraft and Procedures for Handling Renounced Aircraft, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam requests any persons having rights and interests in the aircraft to remove it so as not to affect the operations at Noi Bai International Airport and to make payment for the aircraft parking fees. Such fees are provisionally calculated from 01 December 2014, the date at which the last payment was made by RKA, to 22nd  August 2014, which are 605,800 US dollars (Six Hundred Five Thousand and Eight Hundred US dollars). The fees shall be fully calculated from 1st December 2007 to the date at which the aircraft shall have been removed from Noi Bai International Airport.

Any request to receive back the aircraft shall be made in writing together with all documents clearly indicating the rights and interests in the aircraft, which shall be addressed to the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam in order that the Authority may coordinate with the airport operator to carry out the removal of the aircraft. The parking fees shall be paid directly by the person having rights and interests in the aircraft to Noi Bai International Airport.

This Notification will be made three (03) times by means of mass media of the central and local authority. After sixty (60) days from the date of the last Notification and if the person having right and interests in the aircraft fails to communicate with the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam to receive back the aircraft, the aircraft shall be regarded as being renounced and be handled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations./.
